Well the week of Aug. 29-Sept 5 saw some really hot weather but it didn’t affect the fishing.  Our parties caught record numbers of walleye and smallmouth bass.  Of course, they were all conservation minded and only kept a few to eat.

The week of Aug. 22-29 was terrible weather wise but the fishing was unbelievable.  Lots of walleye, pike and bass caught.

Started our bear hunt last week and it was a great week, 90% success rate.  The weather was terrible for 3 days but still had a great hunt.

I haven’t posted for a couple of weeks because we have been extremely busy with guests.  The fishing has been great for the last 2 weeks and so has the weather. Had some new customers and lots of repeat guests and they all did very well. 

We had a few days of really hot weather last week.  Doug & I even had a chance to take a couple of dips in the lake with family.  The hot weather didn’t deter the great fishing.  One of our parties caught some nice perch this week.  They are here for another week so let’s see how they do.

The weather was great last week and so was the fishing.   The picture posted is of 2 separate couples that met each other at our lodge and spent the week fishing together and became fast friends.  Hopefully we will see both of them again next year.

Our guests had a busy week pulling in fish this past week.  Our repeat guests sure know how to do it.

Finally had a stretch of nice weather and it actually got hot the last couple of days of the week.  The guys did great fishing this week.  Some nice bass and walleye were caught.

A little slower fishing week probably due to the up and down weather, 80 degrees one day and then down to 40 the next and new customers learning different fishing techniques and lakes.  Some nice walleye were caught though.

Great week of fishing.  We had a couple of new parties this week as well as our oldest one.  This was their 39th year and the fishing is just as good now as it was 39 years ago.  We are into the 4th generation and what a great joy to have started with the great grandfather and now the great grandsons.
