I guess I have slacked off a bit for the last couple of weeks and didn’t update the blog.  It’s been extremely busy here and haven’t had a chance until now.  To say that the weather has been crazy is an understatement.  The week of June 4-11 was freezing and nothing but rain pretty much the whole week but the guys still caught some nice walleye and pike.  Last week we were in the middle of a heat wave with no wind which made walleye fishing very tough.  We even had one party go out and fish at 3:30 in the morning and caught a ton of walleye right up until the start of sunrise and then they shut off.  This week we had some hot weather Saturday that ended with a huge thunder and lighting storm and a ton of rain.  It brought in cooler weather and high winds.  Lost our power for 6 hours on Monday because of trees on the power line and the fishermen were limited in where they could fish Monday and Tuesday because of the high winds.  The weather improved yesterday and so has the fishing.  It looks like the next few days are going to be great fishing weather.
