Well the 2016 season started a week ago and we have been very busy.  We finally got our spring bear hunt back but the decision came down way too late and we only managed to book a few hunters but they all saw bear.  Glad to have it back.  We are in full fishing mode right now and it has been pretty slow which is understandable considering that we have had nothing but cold and rain for the last couple of weeks.  It was a balmy 0 this morning but feels much colder because of the strong north winds.  We have some hardy fishermen in camp and this terrible weather isn’t keeping them down.  The forecast is looking much better.  Our summer is jammed packed again with a waiting list and our future plans are to build 2 more cottages on the lakeshore.  This first update is the beginning of my weekly posts.  Hoping for another great fishing year.
