Chapleau Snowmobiling Trails & Accommodations for Sledders

Snowmobiling

Chapleau is a Mecca for snowmobiling. Just in the Chapleau area there are over 450 miles of groomed trails. From Chapleau many snowmobilers travel to-and-from Sudbury, Hearst, Sault Ste Marie, Gowganda, Timmins, Wawa and Foleyet. It's the most popular region for snowmobiling in Ontario. We are very close to Trail C101, which is referred to as the Chapleau Trail Corridor.

We offer warm and cozy accommodations, dinner and breakfast during the snowmobile season for sledders passing through on their trip. Bedding and towels will be supplied for snowmobilers. You have to reserve in advance. If cancellations are not made with more than 24 hours notice; the full amount on the rental will be charged.

For more information on trails, conditions, events and buying snowmobiling permits, please contact the Chapleau Artic Watershed Snowmobile Club. When purchasing your snowmobile trail permits we would appreciate it if you would do so from the Chapleau Arctic Watershed Club. This will help us in obtaining more money from OFSC to improve our trails.
